Ambala boy suffers head injury during school break
AMBALA: A 13-year-old boy suffered a head injury during lunch break at his school premises in Ambala district on Tuesday. While the mother of the victim has alleged that her son was beaten up by a school teacher, after regaining consciousness, the boy claimed that one of the boys at his school had hit him on his head with a tyre.
The victim is a student of Class VIII in a government primary school situated at Jatwar village in Ambala district.

According to information, teachers at the school found the student’s face drenched in blood following which he was rushed to a private hospital at Ambala Cantonment.
The doctors declaring him to be in a serious condition referred him to the civil hospital in Ambala, where he received about 20 stitches on his head.
The doctors at the civil hospital said the his right eye had also suffered a serious injury due to which he was later referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32 in Chandigarh.
After being told about the incident, the family members of the boy reached the hospital premises while the doctors were giving him primary treatment.
The mother of the victim accused that one of the school teachers used to beat him but refused to reveal the teacher’s name.
However, the victim said that it was one of the students, who had hit him while playing during the lunch break.
The Panjokhra Police were informed about the incident on Tuesday evening, and the police have started to investigate the case. Police sources have said further action would be taken soon. Meanwhile, the doctors said that the victim is out of danger.
